Changan Showcases Complete New Energy Vehicle Range at Thailand International Motor Expo 2025

Bangkok, Nov. 28, 2025 — Changan Automobile introduced its newest range of new energy vehicles (NEVs) at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2025, showcasing models from both AVATR and CHANGAN DEEPAL. The exhibition emphasized the company’s advanced technology and extensive automotive legacy. Held from November 29th to December 10th at IMPACT Challenger Hall, Muang Thong Thani, CHANGAN’s participation signifies a significant move to provide smart mobility solutions to consumers in Thailand.

AVATR, a brand embodying the concept of “Emotive Luxury,” took center stage at the event with the unveiling of its premium elegant luxury SUV, the AVATR 07. Designed by AVATR’s European design team, this model has received prestigious international accolades, including the IDA International Design Gold Award and the 2025 German iF Design Award. Its interior features a blend of high-quality materials, multi-sensory delights, and remarkable quietness, fostering a truly immersive and opulent atmosphere. The vehicle boasts a 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds and an advanced CDC adaptive air suspension, supported by industry-leading ADAS, ensuring a smooth, dependable, and assured driving experience. With its exquisite design, luxurious comfort, and intelligent features, the AVATR 07 invites Thai customers to embark on a new era of “Smart elegance, effortless luxury”.

CHANGAN DEEPAL, a significant component of Changan’s offerings in Thailand, maintained its impressive market performance. The DEEPAL S05, the inaugural model manufactured in Thailand and launched in March 2025, secured the top position in EV SUV registrations for two months straight. In response to increasing consumer interest, Changan launched the S05 Max Long Range, which features an entirely black exterior and interior, a 68.82 kWh battery providing a 560 km NEDC range, and a 200 kW motor achieving 0–100 km/h in only 6.48 seconds.

Given Thailand’s rapid shift towards vehicle electrification, the country has emerged as a crucial strategic center for Changan. Through its “In Thailand, For Thailand” initiative, Changan is furthering its localization efforts in areas such as local manufacturing, marketing, sales, and service.

In May 2025, Changan opened its initial overseas NEV production facility in Rayong, Thailand, which employs more than 1,000 Thai personnel and boasts roughly 60 percent local content. In August, Changan organized its first Service Skills Competition in Bangkok, aiming to uphold its worldwide after-sales benchmarks.

Moving forward, Changan intends to release seven models in Thailand within the next three years. Globally, over the coming five years, Changan is set to unveil more than 50 NEVs, propelling AVATR and CHANGAN DEEPAL towards leading positions in the intelligent and new energy mobility sector.
