Christmas trees lit at Araneta City, Hotel 101

CHRISTMAS is just around the corner, with more people heading to the shopping malls and hotels to admire the holiday decorations.

Araneta City last week lit up its iconic Giant Christmas Tree, which was decorated in lights and colorful ornaments. The Giant Christmas Tree is located within the Times Square Food Park in Araneta City, Cubao.

“We made sure to light up our Giant Christmas Tree in time for 11.11, which tradition says is a special date when anything you wish for can come true. It’s also our way of welcoming the return of our guests to the City of Firsts now that quarantine restrictions are starting to loosen up a bit,” Marjorie Go, assistant vice-president for marketing of Araneta Group, said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Hotel 101 Group recently held simultaneous Christmas Tree lighting ceremonies across its properties, namely Hotel 101 – Manila, Jinjiang Inn – Ortigas, Jinjiang Inn – Makati, Jinjiang Inn – Boracay Station 1, and Injap Tower Hotel in Iloilo.

At the Hotel 101-Manila, guests adorned the Christmas tree with a Star of Hope.

“This star symbolizes hope that shines and guides us as we navigate through and out of this pandemic. We have been through a lot, and now, we’re seeing improvements in our situation,” Hotel 101 Group General Manager Gel Gomez said.
