18,000 A4 individuals register for vaccination vs Covid-19

THE Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH 7), on Friday, July 2, 2021, said a total of 18,000 eligible individuals belonging to priority group A4 or economic workers in the region have registered themselves for Covid-19 vaccination as of June 27.

Of these, a total of 2,403 or about 13.4 percent have been inoculated with their first dose as of Thursday, July 1.

Moreover, the vaccination coverage for priority group A1 or those healthcare workers including their immediate family members is also nearing completion as about 90.3 percent or 119,171 of the 131,989 total masterlisted priority A1 individuals have received their first dose.

Of these, 33,697 are now fully vaccinated.

For priority group A3 or individuals with comorbidities, the DOH 7 said 192,571 (93.6 percent) of the 205, 664 masterlisted A3 individuals have received their first dose while 21,713 of them are fully vaccinated.

Central Visayas as of July 1, has received a total of 879,200 doses of mixed Covid-19 vaccines composed of 470,880 doses of Sinovac, 162,000 doses of AstraZeneca, 241,020 doses of Pfizer and 5,300 doses of Gamaleya’s Sputnik V.

Cebu City received a total of 216,796 doses; Mandaue City got 130,354 doses; Lapu-Lapu City got 64,546; Cebu Province got 207,636; Bohol got 142,830; Negros Oriental got 84,294; while Siquijor got 32,744 doses. (WBS)
