Land parcels, composed of 208 land titles based in Argao, Barili, Badian, Cebu City, Daanbantayan, Medellin, Tabogon and Tuburan that totaled 296.6594 hectares were distributed to ARB recipients based in Cebu.
Aside from ARBs from Cebu, DAR also conducted the simultaneous distribution of land titles to 346 ARBs from Bohol and Negros Oriental in those provinces.
Engineer Rosanna Gay Visitacion, DAR Cebu information officer, said that after the distribution, they are looking forward to the development of these land areas to be used for agriculture.
“We are looking forward to the ARBs to develop their land, be productive, and be members of the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organization,” Visitacion said.
Visitacion also said the locations of these land parcels are fit for vegetable production.
Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama was a guest of honor during the ceremony.
