Don Bosco College to build SciTech center

DON Bosco Technical College (DBTC) Cebu is set to begin constructing its Science and Technology (SciTech) Center this year.

SciTech Center will be equipped with advanced science, technology and innovation (STI) resources, the DBTC said.

The project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development–American Schools and Hospitals Abroad.

The ceremony for the unveiling of the SciTech Center held last January this year was led by DBTC president and rector Fr. Randolph Figuracion, SDB.

The project was presented by Fr. Fidel Ma. Orendain, provincial superior of the Salesians of Don Bosco.

The SciTech Center will showcase state-of-the-art civil, electrical and electronics engineering technologies that will benefit the institution’s students in the junior and senior high school, college and technical-vocational departments.

Partner institutions will also have access to the center’s resources, the DBTC said.
