DTI partners with tech provider to promote digital transformation

THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and JustPayto Philippines Corp. (JustPayto) have formalized their partnership with the aim of boosting financial inclusion in the country by providing digital payment solutions to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

JustPayto intends to onboard all interested DTI-registered businesses into its platform, enabling said businesses to sell more and reach a wider market.

Through JustPayto, onboarded DTI registered merchants will be able to accept payments both online and in-store (including Visa/Mastercard credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and e-wallets), monitor cashflow, and even apply for loans. Aside from providing online business tools, JustPayto will also be conducting entrepreneurship seminars and talks in regional DTI offices nationwide.

“We are very excited with this partnership as it will help accelerate the digitalization of MSMEs nationwide,” Trade Undersecretary Blesila Lantanoya said in a statement Wednesday.

JustPayto is a financial technology firm founded in 2016. Aside from DTI, JustPayto is also partnered with Ayala Malls, Autosweep and Easytrip RFID, Petron, Bayad Center, FBDC, and Beep cards. The company is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and is licensed and regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. (with PR)
