Dy faces Oh in Brave CF

FORMER UFC fighter Rolando Dy attempts to end his recent slump as he locks horns with South Korean warrior Ho Taek-oh in Brave CF 58 on April 30 in Incheon, South Korea.Dy is looking to return to his winning ways after dropping his last two contests. After back-to-back wins in the Brave CF in 2020, Dy was given the opportunity to fight for a title eliminator. The 30-year-old son of boxing great Rolando Navarette was unfortunate and was stopped by Kubanychbek Abdisalam Uulu in 2021. Dy suffered another loss a few months later, a unanimous defeat in the hands of Slobodan Maksimovic.Dy is just one of the few home-grown Filipino talents that have fought in the pinnacle of the sport, the UFC. He had four fights in the UFC and went 1-3 in the organization. His only win in the UFC is a unanimous decision over Buren Wuliji.Dy should have his hands full against Oh, who won his last five fights.The 28-year-old Oh has bounced around from different MMA organizations. He started out at Road FC, then in the TFC, the AFC before fighting overseas in UAE Warriors.Oh has not fought for two years. He last saw action in 2020 with a third round triangle choke win over Cuban Ronald Girones Sago.Dy is 14-11, while Oh is 7-2-1.
