Former bantamweight king Belingon faces Kim in ONE on Prime Video 4

EX-ONE bantamweight champion Kevin Belingon is on a rough patch in his career and is in dire need of a victory.

Belingon is looking to end his current slump with a win over South Korean Kim Jae Woong in one of the undercard fights of ONE on Prime Video 4 on Nov. 18 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The 35-year-old Belingon lost his last four contests in the past three years, wherein two of those are world championship bouts.

Belingon’s last win was when he dethroned Bibiano Fernandes by split decision for the ONE bantamweight belt in their rematch in 2018.

Belingon lost to Fernandes in their next two rematches in 2019. Belingon was disqualified after hitting Fernandes at the back of the head in the second rematch. It paved the way for another rematch, this time Fernandes submitted Belingon in the second round with a rear-naked choke.

Belingon dropped his next two fights against current ONE bantamweight title holder John Lineker and No. 4 rated bantamweight Kwon Won Il.

Kim, on the other hand, lost his last two contests. He suffered a first round knockout loss to ONE featherweight king Tang Kai and a first round rear-naked choke to Shamil Gasanov.

Belingon is 20-9, while Kim is 12-6.

Belingon’s teammate Stephen Loman (16-2) is also seeing action in the same event. He’ll be facing his stiffest test in former ONE bantamweight champion Fernandes (24-5).

ONE on Prime Video 4 features a world championship double-header.

Kiamrian Abbasov (23-5) defends his ONE welterweight strap against ONE lightweight titlist Christian Lee (16-4).

ONE Muay Thai flyweight titleholder Rodtang Jitmuangnon (268-42-10) also defends his title against ONE Muay Thai strawweight champion Joseph Lasiri (43-12).
