LTO Mandaue office to reopen soon

THE Land Transportation Office’s (LTO) Mandaue City District Office will open soon, the regional director announced on Friday, June 2, 2023.

LTO 7 Director Victor Caindec went on Facebook Live and conducted a walk-through of the agency’s newest district located on the third floor of City Times Square 2 in Barangay Tipolo.

The LTO Mandaue District Office was relocated to a new venue after its previous location, J Centre Mall on A.S Fortuna St., closed its doors last Jan. 31.

The new office will accommodate the Motor Vehicle Registration and Licensing Section, which is expected to cater to around 80-90 applicants at a time.

Caindec said the actual opening date is yet to be determined as they are still waiting for the signature of a top official before they can start operations.

To expedite and enhance efficiency in transactions, the new office has additional evaluators. Also, the examination room for new licenses can accommodate up to 15 applicants at a time.

Caindec expressed his gratitude to Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Terence Calatrava for mediating with the management of City Times Square II to secure the space.
