AN aircon technician died in the hospital after he was shot in Tres de Abril Street, Barangay San Nicolas Proper, Cebu City past 11 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023.
The victim was identified as Ronald Abelo alias Paklay, 45, a resident of the said place.
According to case investigator, Police Staff Sergeant Lei Vincent Gonsalve, the victim was buying cigarettes at a store near the San Nicolas barangay hall when the gunman arrived and shot him in the head.
Abelo was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead past 1 a.m. of the following day, according to the victim’s niece, Rose.
Gonsalve said they are considering all angles to find out the motive of the incident. (BBT, TPT)
