Nearly P2 million shabu seized in Bohol; 4 persons, including a woman, fall

NEARLY P2 million worth of suspected shabu were confiscated in two separate buy-bust in Bohol on Thursday evening, September 22, 2022.The operatives of Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) Central Visayas in Bohol headed by Police Lieutenant Edcel Petecio conducted the drug raid based on the directive of RPDEU 7 head Lieutenant Colonel Ronnie Failoga, together with the Tagbilaran City police and Bohol Provincial Intelligence Unit, which led to the arrest of the suspect identified as Gemuba Librada Ras Alcala, 33, a resident of Barangay Yanangan, Loay town.Seized from her possession were packs of alleged shabu amounting to P1.7 million based on street drug price value.Alcala was considered as a regional high value individual based on the large amount of drugs taken from her.Meanwhile in Panglao town, at least three persons were arrested when the operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas dismantled a drug den there.Those arrested were Herminiano Salan Jr., 20, alleged drug den maintainer, and drug den visitors John David Ysalena, 32, and Mark Gabica, 36, who are both motorcycle-for-hire (habal-habal) drivers.The suspects yielded P74,000 worth of illegal substance.
