It was a high school friendship that ended up in a beautiful afternoon wedding for Carl Buhisan and Liane Tirambulo. They were classmates at Silliman University but then went separate ways for college. Somewhere along the way, love bloomed and five years into the relationship, the young couple decided on a lifetime commitment.Dumaguete-based Carl and Liane decided on a “destination wedding” and they chose Cebu where Liane has roots (paternal Grandma Juliet Garcia Amador vda. de Tirambulo is part of the Garcia clan). They said their vows before Fr. Eric Lozada with the blessings of her parents, Dennis and Leslie Claire (Pareja) Tirambulo, and his widowed mother, Caroline Lu Buhisan. Venue was the Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod at the SM Seaside Complex where a good number of relatives and friends from Dumaguete and Cebu were present to share in the happy occasion.A grand wedding reception followed at the ballroom of Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa.
