Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel celebrated its 40th anniversary with president Louie Borromeo Alvarez welcoming guests for a dinner celebration highlighted by musical entertainment. Starting off the anniversary affair was the launch of the resort’s “Sunset Chill,” a weekend “Happy Hour” (Fridays and Saturdays) at the picture pretty The Boardwalk. Cocktail drinks, a wide selection of tapas and all else that spelled “chilling out” were on the menu.
Very much involved in host duties aside from Pres. Louie and wife Hazel were Board chairperson Merche Alvarez Castro, corporate secretary Marisse Alvarez Sy and the hotel’s officer in charge Jojo Nazareno. Absent were board members Mariles A. Nable and Marita A. Arambulo who were out of the country.
A Greek Mediterranean dinner along with Mama Mia music and dance marked the anniversary affair. (This was a full moon ago when times were not as alarming). It began with the backdrop of a setting sun and ended with starlit skies over beautiful Costabella.
