PBA veteran forward Vic Manuel traded to NorthPort for Sean

VIC Manuel’s stay with the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters proved to be a short one as he was traded to NorthPort for veteran forward Sean Anthony.

Manuel was packaged with wingman Michael Calisaan and sent to NorthPort for Sean Anthony, Sean Manganti and future second round pick. The trade has been given the green light by the PBA Commissioner’s Office.

The 6-foot-4 forward managed to suit up for just 11 games for Phoenix in the recently concluded Philippine Cup and had averages of 12.82 points, 5.27 rebounds, and 1.45 assists per game. The trade actually brings Manuel back to the very team that drafted him back in 2012.

On the other hand, Anthony will be playing for his seventh team in his storied career that saw him once capture the Defensive Player of the Year plum in 2019. He has battled numerous injuries the past few seasons and managed just 10.63 points, 6.75 rebounds, 2.13 assists and 1.5 steals per contest in the last tournament.
