PFP political party backs BBM-Sara tandem

THE Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) is calling on its parallel groups to unite in their support for former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte for the presidency and vice presidency in the May 9, 2022 elections.This was announced by Carlitos Ceniza, vice president of PFP Visayas, during the appointment and oath of office of lawyer Romulo “Jun” Manapsal as secretary general of Region 7 along with the other PFP officials at the BBM Cebu headquarters on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.Officials at the BBM-Sara headquarters on Archbishop Reyes Avenue said each week, they can recruit 2,000 individuals from the grassroots level, senior citizens, BBM riders and other sectors of the community to support the candidacy of their nominees.Manapsal and Ceniza said the PFP and Uniteam here in Region 7 will not interfere in local politics and focus their campaign on BBM and Sara’s candidacy.Apart from Manapsal, also swearing in were lawyers Van Ancero, Oliver Dicdican, Wilbert Dumon, Aldwin Fernandez, Angelica Fernandez-Dumon, Athena Salas-Duran, Jose Salas, Terence Fernandez and Garri Fernandez to ensure that the vote is counted for Marcos and Duterte during the elections here in the Visayas.Meanwhile, the BBM/Sara All Parallel Coordinating Center located at the Roble Shipping Warehouse in the North Reclamation Area opened Tuesday, March 8, 2022.Former Hilongos, Leyte mayor Jose Emery “Joy” Roble, regional coordinator of the parallel organization, is confident that President Rodrigo Duterte will support BBM’s candidacy because his runningmate is his daughter Sara and it is also supported by his sons Congressman Paulo and Vice Mayor Sebastian Duterte.On the same day, Roble, Cruz and Dayanghirang also held a meeting of parallel groups at their headquarters.The event was attended by former partylist Representative Jonathan Dela Cruz (Team BBM national adviser), Councilor Danny Dayanghirang (head, Sara All National Parallel Coordinating Center) and Mayor Michael Rama, whose party endorsed and supported BBM and Sara’s candidacy.
