PH U-20 squad kicks off campaign in AFC Asia Cup Qualifiers

THE Philippines kicks off its campaign in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers on Sept. 15 (PH time) at the Al Saada Sports Complex in Salalah, Oman.The Philippines is in Group G and takes on host Oman.The Azkals’ next assignment is against Thailand on Sept. 17 and against Afghanistan on Sept. 18.The Philippines is mentored by head coach Christopher Pedimonte, assistant coach Tommy Escoltero, goalkeeping coach Anthony Albao. Aslo supervising the squad is Philippine Football Federation technical director Stuart Hall and Azkals star Stephan Schrock.The squad is composed of Cebuano Kamil Amirul, Sandro Reyes, Ethan Dacaret, Andres Aldeguer, Cyrelle Saut, Jared Peña, Michael Osorio, Gavin Muens, Justin Frias, Dov Carino, Karl Absalon, Zachary Taningco, David Setters, Alexander Santos, Shayden Sampow, Jaime Rosquillo, Martin Meriño, John Do, Ryan Devine, Christian Lauron, Cesar Castro III and Lance Bencio.
