THE Sheba FC’s 12-Under team won the division title in the Balik Patid Football seven-a-side tournament at the Eastern Visayas Academy football field over the weekend. The team, coached by Sheba Castañares, went undefeated in the group stage, beating Cebu United, 2-0, Benthel Asia, 1-0 and tournament organizer Guardians Academy, 1-0.In the semifinals, it played Naga City to a 1-1 draw in regulation before winning the shootout, 2-1.It was the same story in the finals as it played Benthel Asia, 1-1, in regulation before bagging home the crown, 2-1, via shootout, with Bryan Monsanto earning MVP honors.
