PLDT wireless unit, Smart Communications, Inc. has supported the Local Government of Lapu-Lapu City’s project to mount graphic decals illustrating images of Lapu-lapu’s heroism in the Kadaugan sa Mactan (Victory at Mactan), and the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines on the three pillars of Marcelo Fernan Bridge.

A ceremonial lighting of decals has taken place with the Lapu-Lapu city local government leaders and representatives from Smart to signify the celebration of the 500 Years of Christianity in the Philippines and the Victory at Mactan. (PR)
