Directed by Academy Award-winning director, Darren Aronofsky (“Black Swan,” “Mother!”), the film features Fraser (“The Mummy”) and Hong Chau (“Downsizing”)—both nominated at the 95th Academy Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, respectively.
The cast also includes Sadie Sink (“Stranger Things”) and Ty Simpkins (“Iron Man 3”).
“The Whale” revolves around Charlie, a reclusive and unhealthy English teacher who hides out in his flat. He is desperate to reconnect with his teenage daughter for a last chance at redemption.
