You can also opt to have your orders delivered straight to your doorstep.Aside from its shelves and refrigerators filled with fresh fruits and vegetables, Prutasan Ni Adan also has refrigerators dedicated to frozen goods, organic drinks, and ready-to-eat food, and shelves filled with dry goods.“We are slowly filling this store with essentials so our patrons don’t have to go from one store to another to get their weekly groceries,” Bobby shared.Bobby, who is now “King of Prutas” to his friends and clients, props his success to bananas—how it all started. He began this entrepreneurial journey of his by selling bananas to his previous corporate workplace.“In my previous workplace, there were around 5,000 employees in a company and these employees consume one banana per day. Imagine how many consumers you will get if you will be able to supply more than one company with this number of employees.”Bobby found an opportunity to supply bananas to his previous company and then to other companies around him. From then on, he decided to leave his corporate life to become a full-time banana supplier.Later on, he expanded his offering to fruits, then premium and exotic fruits until he became the sole distributor of some imported brands to Cebu.Prutasan Ni Adan got famous for its premium fruit baskets during the lockdown since most fruit baskets available in Cebu are usually available during Christmas and New Year.“Since people can’t go out during that time, we deliver fruits for them.
