Duc Phuc secures the top spot in the televised contest
Vietnamese vocalist Duc Phuc emerged victorious at the Intervision song contest held in Moscow on Sunday.
An international jury recognized Phuc for his performance, which skillfully combined folk singing with rap elements. Performers from 22 nations participated in the event.
Phuc garnered a total of 422 points; the Nomad Trio from Kyrgyzstan, who were the runners-up, obtained 373 points. Dana Al Meer of Qatar secured the third position with 369 points.
The organizers stated that the competition draws its inspiration from a Soviet-era event of an identical name, with the aim of promoting friendship and cultural diversity.
