The 31-year-old Actub is fighting for the first time in over three years. She last fought on Jan. 19, 2020, wherein she beat Marichu Semillano by a unanimous decision in Iligan City.
Actub won the vacant Wiba super bantamweight belt in 2017 after knocking out South Korean Lee Ye Byul in the third round in South Korea.
She also fought for the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation Women’s super-bantamweight belt but lost to unbeaten Japanese Ayumi Goto also in 2017.
Actub had some elite competition with the likes of former world champion Miyo Yoshida and former world title challengers Norj Guro and Jessebelle Pagaduan.
Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Ringo just turned pro in 2021.
She captured a regional belt in just her third pro fight after stopping Yuko Henzan in two rounds to win the vacant World Boxing Organization Asia-Pacific bantamweight strap in Japan.
Ringo challenged World Boxing Council International Women’s super-featherweight queen Shin Bo Mi Re and suffered her first career defeat. The South Korean Shin scored a sixth-round technical knockout of Ringo.
Actub is 8-10-1 with five knockouts, while Ringo is 3-1 with two knockouts.
