(SeaPRwire) –   Top North Korean leader oversaw assault exercises as 13-year-old Kim Ju-ae appeared to operate an armored vehicle

Kim Jong-un’s daughter seemingly drove a tank while her father rode on top of the vehicle during large-scale military drills.

According to a Friday report from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim oversaw the offensive exercise displaying combined infantry and armored unit advances, underscoring a focus on combat readiness.

Footage released by KCNA showed Kim Ju-ae, believed to be around 13 years old, with her head sticking out of the driver’s hatch of a moving tank as her father sat atop the vehicle alongside soldiers. Observers said her positioning indicated she was operating the tank.

KCNA stated that the drills included a demonstration assault carried out by a tank company equipped with the latest tank models.

Kim praised the new tank’s combat performance as “excellent” and noted that its development had taken roughly seven years, adding that the country’s ground forces would be widely equipped with these vehicles.
