Kremlin Announces Dates for New Russia-Ukraine-US Talks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the talks, initially set for Sunday, were postponed because of diary conflicts.

According to Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, a second round of three-way discussions involving Russian, Ukrainian, and US representatives is scheduled for Abu Dhabi this week.

On Sunday, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced the meeting in the UAE capital was moved to February 4 and 5.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Peskov said, “The Abu Dhabi negotiations were originally planned for Sunday, but further alignment of the three parties’ timetables was necessary.”

He confirmed the trilateral talks will now occur on Wednesday and Thursday. “We can confirm this,” the spokesman added.
