The CEO of Tesla and X commented on a US jury’s decision supporting a woman who had a mastectomy at age 16.
Elon Musk stated that American surgeons conducting ‘gender transition’ procedures on minors might encounter thousands of legal challenges. He drew a comparison between these surgeons and Josef Mengele, the Nazi physician notorious for performing cruel medical experiments on inmates at the Auschwitz II-Birkenau concentration camp during World War II.
The head of Tesla and X was responding to reports that Fox Varian, who underwent a double mastectomy at 16, prevailed in what is being called the first detransitioner malpractice case in the U.S. Varian, now 22, claimed that doctors in New York pressured her into the operation when she was underage.
Both a psychologist and a surgeon gave their approval for the procedure. Subsequently, a jury determined they were responsible for malpractice. Varian received $1.6 million for her pain and suffering, along with an additional $400,000 for prospective medical expenses.
”Thousands of legal actions will be brought by children who were disfigured by malevolent physicians, contemporary Mengeles,” Musk posted on X on Saturday, sharing an update regarding the verdict.
”The educational institutions, psychologists/psychiatrists, and state authorities who enabled this will also face severe consequences,” he further stated.
Musk has previously discussed his family’s personal encounter with the extreme ‘gender transition’ movement in public. One of his offspring, Xavier, identified as transgender at 16 and subsequently adopted the name Vivian Jenna Wilson.
The billionaire asserted that he was “fundamentally deceived into signing paperwork” by medical professionals, describing the practice as “extraordinarily wicked.”
“I effectively lost my son. There’s a reason they refer to it as deadnaming,” Musk stated in prior comments, noting that Xavier had been metaphorically eliminated by what he termed the “woke mind virus,” which he pledged to “eradicate.”
Upon his return to office, President Donald Trump has reversed multiple policies implemented during his predecessor Joe Biden’s tenure, including federal backing for medical gender transition interventions for those under 19. Additionally, numerous US states have taken steps to limit or prohibit these treatments for underage individuals.
