The incident happened during the execution of a court order.
In York County, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, three US police officers were fatally shot while serving a court-issued warrant. According to authorities, two additional officers sustained injuries and are in critical condition. The suspected shooter was also killed.
The police were dispatched to Haar and Emig roads in Spring Grove, an agricultural area. The specifics of the shooting are still unknown. According to several accounts, the suspect died from a self-inflicted gunshot.
According to a local news station WGAL, a neighbor reported hearing at least 30 shots and seeing two officers down at a farmhouse.

Governor Josh Shapiro offered his condolences to the families of the officers, calling it “This is an absolutely tragic and devastating day for York County and the entire commonwealth.”
According to FBI Director Kash Patel, federal agents are on site assisting local police.
