US lawmaker claims humans have already made contact with aliens

(SeaPRwire) –   Tennessee Republican Representative Tim Burchett has stated that extraterrestrial life does not represent a danger to mankind

US Congressman Tim Burchett, citing anonymous government sources, has asserted that extraterrestrials have arrived on Earth in non-human vessels and have interacted with people.

Public fascination with UFOs and similar occurrences has increased in the United States lately, following the federal government’s support for the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) and the creation of official reporting methods for both pilots and civilians.

“They provided details, including locations, specific times, dates, and the individuals present at the meeting,” Burchett remarked during a Monday interview on a TMZ livestream. “And these events reached the executive levels of past administrations, though not the incumbent president.”

Responding to the interviewers, the 61-year-old lawmaker emphasized that the reports concerned both “non-terrestrial life” and “non-terrestrial mechanical objects.”

Burchett further expressed his belief that alien beings are not a menace to humanity. “I don’t believe we are in peril. If these entities exist as I suspect, they could have wiped us out instantly, but I don’t see that happening,” he noted.

Speaking with Newsmax the previous week, the congressman also cautioned that making secret data about purported alien interactions public might undermine the confidence of the populace.

“I have received briefings from nearly every major government agency, and if the information I have witnessed were made public, it would cause significant concern,” he stated.

Tim Burchett has become a prominent advocate for the release of documents concerning unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), advocating for increased government openness.

He has accused several organizations, such as NASA, of “deception” regarding their knowledge and maintains that numerous records on the topic are still being withheld.

This past February, US President Donald Trump declared intentions to mandate the Department of War and other departments to declassify government records on UAPs and UFOs, citing “significant public interest.”

Soon after, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth verified that the American people would eventually find out if his department possesses evidence of extraterrestrial life, though he warned that the process might not be fast.

In March 2024, the Pentagon stated it lacked evidence that any unidentified aerial phenomena were actually extraterrestrial technology, noting that many incidents were linked to weather balloons, surveillance aircraft, satellites, and other common activities.
