MANDAUE City-based job seekers need look no further if they are looking for job opportunities.This after Mandaue City’s Public Employment Service Office (Peso) announced on Friday, May 20, 2022, that the city currently has 1,000 local job vacancies.Mary Jeanette Reyes, Peso Mandaue marketing staff member, said interested job seekers from Mandaue City should be 18 to 30 years old to qualify for these available vacancies.But those beyond the stated age bracket may still apply as a lot of job opportunities await them, said Reyes.Among the jobs available for local employment are production workers, clerk officers, English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers, and sales clerks.Reyes said Peso would handle the initial screening of the applicants before they endorse it to different companies. So far, they had recorded around 22 individuals already hired for local positions as of May.Overseas employmentMeanwhile, Reyes added that they are also opening their doors to potential applicants for overseas employment.Reyes said available overseas employment vacancies include work for nurses and other medical-related workers, particularly in the United Kingdom and the United States.Those interested must bring their resumes with an updated picture and visit the Peso Mandaue office located at the back of the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex or send their resumes to pesomandaue@gmail.com.
