A FIRE brigade volunteer of Barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City was shot dead by a lone gunman inside his house in Sitio Panaghiusa of the said barangay around 5 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023.
Police Major Jonathan Bethoven Taneo, chief of Mambaling Police Station 11, identified the victim as Franklyn Pag-usara, 47.
Taneo said the victim was sleeping inside his room when he was shot by the suspect.
The victim died instantly from a gunshot wound in his head.
The police are looking into all angles, including personal grudge and illegal drugs, as the possible motive in the killing. (BBT, TPT)
