Health app launches online medical mission

MWELL by Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC) has launched the biggest nationwide online medical mission.Dubbed the National mWellness Day, the event will bring together volunteer doctors and health practitioners to provide free online consultation to Filipinos from all parts of the country via the mWell PH app on Aug. 27-28, 2022.Now on its second year, National mWellness Day is even bigger, bringing together more doctors from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Filipinos nationwide can consult from a range of doctors on the mWell app where they can receive free quality health consultation from general practitioners, specialists, and mental health experts.This advocacy initiative is part of MPIC’s sustainability mission to bring healthcare closer to more Filipinos nationwide. Wherever the Filipinos are in the country, the National mWellness Day online medical mission is just a few taps away from their mobile gadgets. One can download the mWell PH app and register, choose from the roster of hundreds of volunteer primary care and specialized doctors and avail of the free consultation.The annual event, which first started in September 2021, is built on compassion that cures. Using digital technology through the mWell PH app, access to healthcare is made more convenient, just like any on-ground face-to-face medical mission but from the comfort and security of your home. Health concerns can be addressed from any location giving anyone timely medical advice from experts.This year, as Filipinos rebuild their lives in the new normal, primary care, specialized doctors and mental health experts will be a few taps away, ready to provide much-needed medical advice. Booking fees and doctor fees will be waived on Aug. 27-28.On top of the free consultation, the first one hundred patients will receive vitamin vouchers from MedExpress and Watsons, with free shipping.
