HONG KONG, Sept. 12, 2025 — (NASDAQ: ) (“MoneyHero” or the “Company”), a leading platform for personal finance aggregation and comparison, and a digital insurance brokerage provider in Greater Southeast Asia, today announced the launch of Credit Hero Club’s invite-only beta version to a select group of MoneyHero users. This follows a successful alpha release to internal MoneyHero and TransUnion users at the close of Q2 2025. The beta testing phase is currently underway and will continue for an approximate three-week structured evaluation period, after which the Company plans to finalize product adjustments before the public launch targeted for Q4 2025.
Credit Hero Club, developed in collaboration with TransUnion (NYSE:TRU), a global information and insights firm, aims to offer users streamlined access to their credit profiles along with data-driven, personalized loan product information. By utilizing TransUnion’s real-time credit data, Credit Hero Club seeks to assist users in better understanding their credit standing, identifying financial products that align with their credit profile, and simplifying the application process. These functionalities are designed to enhance approval and conversion rates for partner banks and financial institutions, while simultaneously providing users with a seamless experience.
Upon conclusion of the beta testing, Credit Hero Club will introduce several key features:
- TransUnion Credit Score: a credit assessment meeting lender standards, derived from the user’s credit report.
- TransUnion Credit Report: a comprehensive overview of the user’s credit history, including current credit relationships, to ensure data precision.
- Personalised Loan Product Information: an analysis of the user’s credit profile to present loan options that best align with their stated borrowing requirements.
Additional features providing more in-depth insights and predictive analysis are being explored for future versions of the platform.
By empowering consumers with thorough credit monitoring and tailored insights, Credit Hero Club transforms MoneyHero from merely a one-time comparison site into a reliable financial platform for regular user engagement. This platform also enables ongoing monetization and cross-product synergies in lending, insurance, and wealth management, fostering long-term customer value growth and profitability.
Bridging Hong Kong’s Credit Diversity Gap
TransUnion research published in June 2025* indicates that 83% of Hong Kong consumers possess only basic spend wallet credit cards, pointing to an underuse or limited access to diverse credit products. Credit Hero Club aims to close this gap by assisting consumers in comprehending their credit profiles, identifying appropriate product information that matches their goals, and enhancing their approval prospects.
