HONG KONG, March 03, 2026 — Samfine Creation Holdings Group Limited (Nasdaq: SFHG, “Samfine” or the “Company”), a one-stop printing service provider, today announced it has received a Publication Printing Business Permit from the relevant PRC press and publication authorities. This permit authorizes the Company to carry out domestic publication printing operations in China. Samfine views this authorization as a significant step in its strategy to grow beyond its current international order base and enter the domestic publication printing market. By applying its printing expertise and technical strengths, the Company aims to pursue opportunities in domestic intellectual property-based and educational publication sectors.
Addressing Regulatory Constraints and Exploring Domestic Market Opportunity
In the past, regulatory limitations on foreign-invested enterprises restricted Samfine’s involvement in certain domestic publication printing activities within the PRC, leading the Company to concentrate its publication printing business mainly on overseas orders. Although this focus helped develop world-class manufacturing capabilities, it constrained the Company’s participation in the domestic market. The new permit is anticipated to remove these regulatory barriers and broaden the range of business activities Samfine can pursue in China, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
Mrs. Cheng Kwan Hong, general manager and director of Samfine Printing, commented: “This permit marks a crucial step in our entry into the Chinese market. Utilizing our experience from serving international publishers, we plan to offer printing services to domestic clients while adhering to all regulatory requirements. We are also observing evolving cultural consumption patterns in China and the wider economic context of the ‘Dual Circulation Strategy’.
Dual Growth Drivers: Anime and Education
The Company considers the PRC publication printing market to have shown relative stability despite wider industry shifts. Influenced by Generation Z’s consumption habits, demand for anime-related publications has risen in recent years, driving need for associated printing services. As per the 2026-2032 China Anime Publication Industry Market Research and Investment Risk Assessment Report from HuaJing Industry Research Institute, the anime publication market is forecast to keep growing in the foreseeable future. Demand for high-quality printing has increased for items ranging from serialized manga to art books and light novels.
Concurrently, demand for educational books and children’s publications has stayed relatively steady. According to the GongYan Industry Research Institute’s 2026-2032 China Publication Printing Industry Report, while digital media has pressured some segments of the overall market, the need for core educational materials has remained consistent. The PRC publication printing market is estimated to grow to around RMB 203.5 billion by 2026. Samfine intends to concentrate on K-12 textbooks, supplementary materials, and preschool publications, leveraging its production capacity to meet industry demands for speed, quality, and safety.
Moving forward, Samfine’s goal is to transition from an export-focused manufacturer to a comprehensive printing service provider with greater involvement in the PRC domestic market. Equipped with the new permit, the Company will set up a dedicated domestic business unit to seek collaborations with publishers, anime firms, and educational institutions in the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions. “Our international business enabled us to build strong capabilities; we are confident the domestic market will fuel our next growth stage,” Mrs. Cheng added. “We are committed to implementing this strategy carefully to generate long-term shareholder value in this market exceeding RMB 200 billion.”
