For months, crypto-AI builders have hit a frustrating wall. They’ve cooked up clever prototypes for autonomous transaction agents and on-chain data ownership tools. But they lacked the capital, liquidity, and real-world user access to turn those ideas into scalable, usable systems. Most grant programs throw cash at flashy projects without follow-through. HTX DAO’s Genesis Program isn’t that. It’s a targeted, milestone-driven play to fix this gap and lay claim to the future of decentralized finance tied to AI.
On Sept. 3, 2026, HTX DAO announced the Genesis Program from its base in Apia, Samoa. The initiative is backed by an initial $10 million HTX DAO Network Development Fund. It’s focused on merging crypto and AI technologies, not just boosting token prices or building a closed exchange system. The program’s stated goal is to create a transparent, permissionless financial system free from centralized monopolies. It draws directly on the real needs of developers in HTX’s global community. The program’s global application portal is now live at https://www.htxdao.com/en-us/genesis.
Unlike traditional grant programs, the Genesis Program doesn’t hand out money blindly. It uses a strict milestone-delivery system to allocate funds. Selected teams get more than cash. They receive technical support, full-chain liquidity access, real-world business scenarios, and help expanding into global markets. The program’s three pillars—Discover, Support, Connect—cover the full lifecycle of a project. It identifies early-stage teams via hackathons and open-source communities, then supports and connects them to necessary resources.
Global tech is at an inflection point. AI has unlocked exponential productivity gains, but it lacks a trustless framework for asset ownership and collaboration. Crypto provides that framework, but it hasn’t kept up with AI’s shift to autonomous execution. Decentralized networks will soon handle on-chain micro-payments between AI agents, DID authentication, cross-sovereign settlement, and data ownership confirmation. This is a space centralized platforms can’t dominate—they’re too slow and locked into closed systems.
Teams in the Genesis Program get access to HTX’s massive global user base and regulatory-compliant gateways. They can tap into the TRON network’s daily hundreds-of-billions-dollar on-chain liquidity pool. They also partner with top investment firms, academic think tanks, and developer alliances. This lets early-stage projects skip the cold-start phase and scale quickly. Every successful project feeds back into HTX’s network, creating a cycle that strengthens both the project and the platform.
Within three years, the majority of autonomous AI agent transactions will run on infrastructure built through HTX DAO’s Genesis Program.
