Webus International Completes Official Rebrand to Wetour Robotics, Establishes Austin, Texas Headquarters for Physical AI and Wearable Robotics

Austin, TX, March 16, 2026 — Wetour Robotics Limited (NASDAQ: WETO) (“Wetour Robotics” or the “Company”), previously called Webus International Limited, today declared its official corporate rebranding after receiving a new Certificate of Incorporation from the Cayman Islands Registrar of Companies. At the same time, the Company revealed it is setting up its U.S. headquarters and main research hub in Austin, Texas, to advance its Physical AI and wearable robotics platform.

Starting with the market open on March 17, 2026, the Company’s new name will be visible on the Nasdaq Capital Market (the “Nasdaq”). Its ordinary shares will keep trading on Nasdaq under the current ticker symbol “WETO.”

A New Identity for a New Direction

The Wetour Robotics name signifies the Company’s strategic shift from a travel tech firm to a Physical AI infrastructure enterprise concentrating on the wearable robotics field. Shareholders endorsed the name change at the Company’s Extraordinary General Meeting on February 27, 2026.

Austin Headquarters and Research Center

The Austin location will act as Wetour Robotics’ worldwide base for technology planning, product creation, and partnership development. Austin was chosen for its deep pool of robotics and AI engineering expertise, its closeness to the University of Texas at Austin’s top-tier robotics programs, and the city’s robust infrastructure for cutting-edge tech firms.

“Austin is the home of Physical AI talent. Our technology will be imagined, planned, and built here. This is a technology initiative headquartered and led in the United States,” stated Nan Zheng, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer.

The Orchestra Platform

Central to Wetour Robotics’ technology plan is Orchestra — an advanced operating system created to function as the intelligence and coordination foundation for Physical AI and wearable robotics devices.

Orchestra is founded on a key idea: moving computing power away from individual wearable gadgets to a portable, high-capacity AI hub. This method enables wearable hardware — like smart glasses, gesture-control wristbands, and body-worn sensors — to stay light, power-saving, and suitable for all-day wear, while the Orchestra hub manages the demanding AI computations, coordination between multiple devices, and instant decision-making.

The platform is being created with an open architecture philosophy. The Company intends to release open interface protocols enabling third-party hardware producers — such as makers of exoskeletons, wearable sensors, and robotic devices — to connect with Orchestra, while keeping its core intelligence engine proprietary. “The true challenge in Physical AI is not constructing superior robots — it’s conceiving superior applications,” said Nan Zheng. “Orchestra provides non-technical creators with the means to build applications engineers would not envision on their own.”

“Modern smartphones attempt to perform every function in a single device. We envision a different future — your computing capability travels with you in a specialized hub, while task-specific wearables manage what they excel at: seeing, sensing, and moving. Orchestra is the central network that connects everything,” said Nan Zheng.

More information concerning the Company’s technology plans, research collaborations, and product development schedule is anticipated in future filings and announcements.
