CLI kickstarts vaccination program for its workforce, dependents

PROPERTY developer Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) has beefed up its Covid-19 relief efforts among its employees with the initial rollout of its Covid-19 Vaccination Program starting on July 9, 2021 at the Velez Medical Arts Building.

The CLI Covid-19 Vaccination Program is an initiative that encourages all CLI employees across its Visayas and Mindanao (VisMin) operations, together with their dependents, to avail themselves of the free Covid-19 vaccination using Moderna vaccine. Clinical studies showed that the Moderna vaccine has a 94.5 percent efficacy that reduces the risk and complications brought about by the virus.

CLI joined the private sector group spearheaded by ICTSI Foundation which acquired over 7,000,000 Moderna doses in a tripartite agreement with Moderna and the Philippine government.

For its employees and stakeholders, CLI acquired over 10,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine, and partnered with healthcare service providers AC Health and Velez Medical in the administration of the vaccines in key cities around VisMin. This initiative is anchored on its long-term commitment to put health and safety at the forefront of protecting its employees against Covid-19.

Among those included under the free vaccination program are all CLI employees regardless of employment status, including project-based employees.

In addition, two qualified dependents of each employee can also avail themselves of the free vaccination program. The qualified dependent may include an employee’s spouse, children, parents and siblings.

To reinforce its vaccination program, CLI mounted a series of educational drives for employees through webinars that were spearheaded by health care professionals and even access to in-house consultations to educate and address vaccine concerns effectively.

Interested employees were also asked to disclose underlying comorbidities and were advised to seek medical clearance from their doctors prior to vaccine enrolment.

The listed company expects more of its employees to be vaccinated in the coming months, especially in its provincial headquarters in VisMin and targets full workforce vaccination by the end of the year.

CLI employee vaccination is the company’s initiative and contribution to the global recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. (PR)
