Drink more beer

“Drink More Beer” was applied with the US Patent and Trademark Office for registration for “non-metal and non-paper closures for containers” or stoppers for containers (examples are tansans and bottle caps). The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board affirmed the ruling of the Trademark Examiner rejecting the trademark application. The board held that “Drink More Beer” is not a source indicator for closures or stoppers for containers. The board also found out that the applicant uses “NNBC” as its trademark and that “Drink More Beer” are only optional wordings that may appear on the products but it is not a source-identifier for closures and containers.
