THE Duggies crushed Dosmil, 70-50, to book the last ticket to the finals of the University of the Philippines Cebu Alumni Basketball League Season 1 last Saturday at the House of Curry in Mandaue City.
Pat del Rosario had a monster ballgame of 26 points and 10 rebounds to propel the Duggies to the finals, where they will take on the top-ranked team in the entire league, Tatay Rudy’s.
Tatay Rudy’s punctuated their sweep of the second round with a 65-53 win over Parking Lot Basketball. Mike Malinao led the team with 19 points, five rebounds, two assists and four steals.
And finally, the UP Legends capped off their season with a 68-44 victory over the Maro-ons. Junie Alejandro had 22 points, five boards, four dimes and four steals, ending his brilliant campaign with another excellent stat line.
