THOUSANDS of senior citizens and persons with disability have received P1,650 financial assistance for the last quarter of this year from the Talisay City Government.
The distribution of cash aid was held in every barangay of the city starting Monday, Dec. 12, 2022.
Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas Jr. said that he had increased the cash aid for beneficiaries from P500 to P550 every month to make true his promise during the campaign period for the May 2022 national and local elections.
Gullas said that the P50 adjustment was just proper so that all the 16,000 senior citizens and PWDs in Talisay can enjoy their benefits. (TPT)
