Suganob dominates Sueno in ‘Kumong Bol-anon III’

INTERNATIONAL Boxing Federation (IBF) Youth light flyweight champion Regie Suganob continued his impressive run after a dominant 10-round unanimous decision win over tough Ricardo Sueno in the main event of PMI Bohol Boxing Stable’s “Kumong Bol-anon III” on March 7, 2022 at the Dauis Gym in Dauis, Bohol.Suganob displayed his impressive boxing skills and totally outgunned Sueno the whole night.All three judges saw Suganob winning by a large margin with scores of 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92.Suganob remained unbeaten with 10-0 with three knockouts, while Sueno, the former World Boxing Council (WBC) ABC Continental flyweight titleholder, dropped to 10-5-4 with three knockouts.Suganob is currently rated No. 10 in light flyweight division by the IBF, wherein Japanese Hiroto Kyoguchi is the current champion.Suganob proved in this fight that he’s ready for the next level after dominating Sueno and showing no signs of fatigue in a rugged 10-round fight.Meanwhile, Regie’s older brother, Rodel Suganob (6-0-1, 2 KOs), demolished veteran Virgilio Silvano (21-8-1, 12 KOs) in four rounds in the show’s co-feature.In the undercard, Jake Amparo (7-3-1, 2 KOs) stopped Ronald Ewican (5-3, 2 KOs) in the second round; Antonio Seismundo (7-3, 7 KOs) scored a brutal first round knockout of Ryan Maano (5-12-2, 1 KO); Kim Lindog (6-13-1, 4 KOs) beat Anthony Galigao (9-17, 4 KOs) by unanimous decision; Angilou Dalogdog (3-0, 2 KOs) outclassed Mark Jequinto (4-9-1) by unanimous decision; John Vincent Pangga (4-0, 2 KOs) defeated Pablito Balidio (4-3-2, 1 KO) by unanimous decision; Shane Gentallan (2-0, 1 KO) won by unanimous decision over Rodel Fuentes (0-1); Christian Balunan (2-0, 1KO) was victorious over Jelou Libres (0-1) by unanimous decision; Rey Dogelio (1-0, 1 KO) thrashed fellow newcomer Rich Neil Rosales (0-1) in the fourth round; and Reymart Tagacanao (1-0, 1 KO) had a successful pro debut with a third round technical knockout of Henry Flor (0-2).
