The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has announced that Ali Larijani, the prominent leader of the Supreme National Security Council, was killed in strikes by the US and Israel.
According to his office, Larijani was killed with his son, Mortaza, and Alireza Bayat, his security deputy. His passing was subsequently confirmed on his official X account.
Sepah, the media branch of the IRGC, characterized Larijani as “one of the most prominent and proficient politicians in Iran.”
