Two ISIS operatives killed in US airstrike in Syria

U.S. Central Command reported that a U.S. military airstrike in Syria on Monday eliminated two ISIS operatives and a weapons cache.

The precision strike in Dayr az Zawr Province, a region previously held by ISIS and Russian forces, resulted in the deaths of two ISIS operatives and injuries to a third, according to CENTCOM.

The operatives were killed while transporting a truckload of weapons, which was also destroyed in the strike.

CENTCOM stated that the airstrike reflects their ongoing commitment, alongside regional partners, to impede terrorist efforts to plan and execute attacks targeting civilians and military personnel from the U.S., its allies, and partners both regionally and globally.
