President Donald Trump of the United States has called off his anticipated “second wave of attacks” against Venezuela, noting that Washington and Caracas are currently cooperating, particularly on efforts to reconstruct the South American nation’s energy infrastructure.

Writing on Truth Social, Trump announced, “I have canceled the previously expected second Wave of Attacks, which looks like it will not be needed, however, all ships will stay in place for safety and security.”
