DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Dec. 04, 2025 — On November 27, the “Cultivate Friendship Through Martial Arts – Silk Road Harmonious Resonance” 2025 China-UAE Martial Arts Exchange Showcase took place at Shangwu Kung Fu in Dubai, UAE. This event was organized by Shaanxi Media Convergence, bringing together athlete representatives from the Shaanxi Provincial Martial Arts Sports Management Center and approximately 200 Chinese and Arab martial arts enthusiasts.

During the showcase, Chinese and Arab martial arts aficionados shared skills and gained insights from one another. Students from Dubai’s Shangwu Kung Fu demonstrated their strong foundational training through powerful movements. Shaanxi athletes presented a combination of traditional martial arts routines and Tai Chi, embodying the Eastern aesthetic of “combining strength and gentleness” and conveying the diverse appeal and profound cultural heritage of Chinese martial arts.
Shaanxi martial arts athletes provide on-site interactive teaching
In the interactive teaching session, Shaanxi martial arts athletes broke down the fundamental movements of Baduanjin, offering progressive guidance from breathing rhythms to body coordination. Dubai students applied themselves diligently, practicing repeatedly and experiencing the intricate precision and disciplined nature of Eastern martial arts through adjustments to each movement.
Unveiling Ceremony
At the event, Yu Bin, project leader for Shaanxi Media Convergence, and Feng Yinxiang, head of Dubai Shangwu Kung Fu, jointly unveiled the plaque for the “International Cultural Promotion and Exchange Project for Chinese Martial Arts.” It is reported that Shaanxi Media Convergence will leverage a three-dimensional model of “digitalization + localization + IP” to develop immersive martial arts experience products utilizing XR technology. Furthermore, plans are underway to establish a permanent martial arts culture experience center in Dubai to continuously foster deep exchanges between the Chinese and Arab martial arts communities.
