Gulf Resources Delays Filing 2025 10-K Due To SEC Adjustments

(SeaPRwire) –   SHOUGUANG, China, April 16, 2026 — Gulf Resources (NASDAQ:GURE) announced today that it is delaying the filing of its 10-K for 2025, referencing a Form 8-K it submitted on April 14, 2026.

The delay in filing the Form 10-K is a result of accounting adjustments that the Company and its auditors are making in response to comments from the SEC on the Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2024.

Previously, the company classified its “land, buildings and salt pans” as fixed assets; however, following the SEC’s comments, the company and its auditors will now reclassify these items as long-term leases.

The company plans to amend its 2024 10-K and will include these adjustments in its forthcoming 2025 10-K.

Given that the company has appointed new Auditors and Counsel over the last two years, all involved parties are taking the necessary time to ensure the matters are properly resolved.

Mr. Xiaobin Liu, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Resources, stated, “We are working diligently to address the SEC’s requirements. We do not, however, anticipate that these issues will materially affect our business operations. We will update our shareholders promptly upon receiving further communication from the SEC.”
