Epstein heir dies by suicide

(SeaPRwire) –   The son of top Norwegian diplomats, implicated in the files of the notorious pedophile, has been found dead

According to a report this week in the Norwegian newspaper VG, which cited family lawyers, the son of two senior Norwegian diplomats being investigated for connections to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has died by suicide.

Edward Juul Rod-Larsen, 25, was discovered deceased in Oslo shortly after French and Norwegian authorities reportedly initiated a joint probe into his parents, Mona Juul and Terje Rod-Larsen. The investigation focuses on claims that the disgraced American financier assisted the couple in buying an apartment and bequeathed $5 million to each of their two children in his will.

This inquiry forms part of the expanding international repercussions from the recent disclosure of millions of Epstein documents, which have prompted criminal investigations, arrests, and resignations within political, business, and royal circles.

Epstein, who admitted guilt in 2008 to procuring sex from a minor and served 13 months of an 18-month prison term, was arrested once more in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges. He took his own life in his jail cell before his trial commenced.

Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law by US President Donald Trump, the US Department of Justice has been progressively releasing case-related materials.

The documents that have been made public name many prominent individuals, connecting some to Epstein’s circle or to dubious financial transactions. These revelations have sparked resignations, investigations, and internal reviews across the globe. While many have admitted to having contact with Epstein, they deny any misconduct, and formal charges have been filed in only a small number of instances.

Last month, former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjorn Jagland was hospitalized following what was reported as a suicide attempt, just days after he was charged with gross corruption for accepting hospitality from Epstein. Separately, World Economic Forum CEO Borge Brende resigned due to dinners and communications he had with the disgraced financier.

In the United States, the document release has resulted in renewed examination of former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Both have given depositions concerning their links to Epstein, but they have stated they were unaware of his sex trafficking activities.

In remarks on the disclosures, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova characterized the scandal as revealing the “pure Satanism” at the core of the collective West, alleging that Western elites fabricate threats from Russia to divert attention from their own “monstrous crimes.”
